Women’s Days of Nature and Nurturing
We love to celebrate this day with pampering, good food, fresh air, beautiful surroundings, why not join us! Or treat a special woman in your life!
We look forward to the day when we can come together and enjoy special events like theses. Here’s a taster of what we’ve done on previous occasions. We hope to have another of these days in June 2021, restrictions permitting.
‘The morning will begin with a warm, nutritious drink and chat. We will head out for an hour of wild food foraging with Geraldine from Wicklow Wild Foods on the picturesque mountain road. Geraldine will talk about the wild foods we find along the way, their nutritional value, medicinal properties and suggest simple ways to use wild foods in our kitchens. We will return to our venue where we will listen to a talk on nutrition for women and ideas around taking care of ourselves and keeping ourselves in optimum health with nutritionist Aisling Kirwan of Cooking up Change, Aisling will prepare lunch with some of the wild foods we have collected and give you lots of simple ideas to increase nutrition in your daily diet.
Each participant will be be given a massage of their choice by the wonderful Anne Mc Carthy of Tranquility by Anne using certified organic oils, so relaxing.
We will have time after lunch to rest, chat, ask questions, look at books. A wonderful nourishing day, just what we need!’
While we are listening to Aisling’s talk, Anne Mc Carthy, Tranquility By Anne, will treat each participant to a hand and arm/scalp/neck and shoulder massage with Phyt’s luxurious organic oils.
We will have lots of time to relax, with warm, nutritious drinks, time to relax by the fire, enjoy a delicious lunch and good company.
